How To Configure Vpn On Juniper Ssg5 Setup

Hi there, we have just bought a new SSG5 Firewall and would like to implement it in our company but we are new to firewalls! We have 3 different networks each with it's own switch. 1- Office Network 2- Laboratory network 3- Classroom network The laboratory and the classroom networks have their own switch that is then connected to the main offices switch. We also have a normal modem/router from telecom and everyone uses it to connect to the internet. Actually our router's IP address is 192.168.0.254 (our office ip address range is 192.168.0.x) All our clients are configured to use that ip in the windows gateway configuration. What we want to do is separate these networks between them so that they can all go on the internet thru our unique modem/router, but they can't dialogue between each other, except for the FTP service (present on the 192.168.0.x range).

So to say it clearly, all networks must be able to connect to the internet and internally only to our ftp server present at 192.168. Cadillacs And Dinosaurs 20 Gun Hack Set. 0.110 address. We would like to assign a different range to all networks assuming the following: Office Network = 192.168.0.x (and possibly enable dhcp) Laboratory Network = 192.168.1.x (and possibly enable dhcp) Classroom Network = 192.168.2.x (and possibly enable dhcp) We would like to keep our office computers network settings like they are so that we don't have to change settings to all of them.

(192.168.0.x) How must we reconfigure our modem/router (which ip address assign to it), and what sort of configuration should we do in the SSG5 to obtain what has been described above? Is there any kind person able to help us in this?

Oct 31, 2013 - I'm not sure what the point is with adding the 5505 to the location the Juniper is. The SSG5 can easily establish an IPSEC VPN with the 5505, I've done it multiple times with higher end SSG's and the code/cli is the same on the 5. You'll need to setup the IKE negotiations and settings on both ends (remote. Configuring a Lan-to-Lan VPN with SSG5. “Untrust” for the VPN setup.) 2. Configure address book entries. Refer to the Juniper Firewall VPN Configuration and.

We just know basic networks but don't have expierence in firewalls. Thanks a lot in advance, Maroso Marco. PS: We have tried doing three different zones and configuring them.

We have also done some policies for the FTP service and the outgoing connections to the internet. We have no idea how to configure SSG5 to know how to route connections thru our modem/router. Hi, and thanks for your reply. That is the network topology i intend. I have configured everything just luke the scheme you did, and enabled dhcp on all interfaces.
